Bulldog Barrels has the equipment and qualified technicians to produce everything from semi-finished and finished receivers to OEM drawings and specifications. Our production lines are configured for small or large capacity runs.

From Blanks to Finished Receiver Production

Drilling, facing, turning, vertical and horizontal broaching are all methods by which we machine blanks to OEM exact specifications. Bulldog Barrels produces receivers from forgings, castings, extrusions or bar stock. Round receivers are drilled and then turned-on-center from raw material. Various shaped receivers are either machined about the drilled hole or OD broached to customer specifications.

  • Bulldog Barrels has full broaching capabilities and the equipment to drill and tap any required holes for finished receivers.
  • Bulldog Barrels offers full quality inspection on Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM), guaranteeing accuracy and repeatability. Quality inspections take place at each phase throughout the production process.
  • Bulldog Barrels can manufacture receivers from all materials whether, carbon & low alloy steel, stainless steel grades (410 & 416) as well as any exotic metals.
